“Don and I decided to plan an elopement to South Haven. To be honest, I was somewhat hesitant at first about not being married in a church. We wanted this special moment to be just the two of us in a peaceful setting. I did not know the story behind Patty and Bruce’s mission with Martha’s Vineyard until after our arrival. At that moment I realized that God brought us here for a reason and a purpose. I love how God works! Patty married us on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. I know God was with us that day and time.”
